Moving brings its own deadlines. DBC provides move-out cleaning and move-in cleaning for Greater Victoria houses, condos, townhomes and apartments, with the tasks and timing agreed before the visit.
For a move-out clean, tell us when the home will be empty and when keys need to be handed over. If you have a written cleaning checklist from a landlord, realtor or property manager, share it when requesting the quote so we can confirm the tasks we can undertake.
For a move-in clean, an empty home usually offers better access to floors, cupboards and room details. Coordinate the cleaning with possession, furniture delivery and any trades still working in the property. The appointment depends on confirmed access and DBC's availability.

Dusting of accessible surfaces and baseboards, vacuuming and appropriate floor care where furniture and belongings have been removed.
Cupboards and appliances
Interior tasks are confirmed separately. Cupboards should be emptied and appliance access arranged before work begins.
Condo and building access
Agree key collection, parking, entry instructions and any elevator booking needed to bring in cleaning equipment. The cleaning window should fit the building's access rules.
Handover priorities
Work from the agreed checklist and flag any task that needs a different service or more time. Share your handover deadline when booking.
The quote covers the agreed cleaning tasks. Carpet-machine cleaning and other additional work need separate confirmation. DBC does not guarantee a landlord's inspection decision or the return of a deposit.

Where possible, remove furniture, rubbish and loose belongings before the clean so floors and surfaces can be reached.

Send any requested handover tasks before the quote is agreed. Identify appliance interiors, cabinet interiors and areas needing extra attention.
Keep utilities available
Confirm that water and electricity will be available during the visit. Arrange parking and any condo entry or elevator instructions in advance.

Yes. DBC provides move-related cleaning for houses, condos, townhomes and apartments. The property condition, requested checklist and available access window determine the quote.
Are ovens, fridges and cabinet interiors included?+
They are included only when those tasks have been requested and confirmed in the scope. Tell us which interiors need cleaning and arrange for them to be accessible before the visit.
Can you work from a landlord or realtor checklist?+
Share the checklist before booking. DBC will confirm which tasks can be completed, any work needing a separate service and the time required.
Should I book before or after the movers?+
For a move-out, an empty property provides better access. For a move-in, cleaning before furniture arrives is usually easier. Agree the appointment only once entry and the moving schedule are clear.
Can you clean before I return from a long trip?+
Yes, a pre-arrival clean can be discussed alongside scheduled Home Check visits. The cleaning appointment and away-home visit schedule are agreed separately.
