One-time, deep and move-out cleaning can also be arranged. If you’re moving, tell us when the home will be empty and when the keys need to be handed over. A landlord’s or property manager’s checklist helps us work out the time needed and confirm what we can cover.

For a condo or apartment, let us know about entry, visitor parking and any building instructions before the visit. Small offices can arrange a walkthrough to discuss the cleaning, access and timing.

Heading away for a while?

Home Check visits give you a written update on your place while you’re away for a holiday, work trip or longer absence. The service is also commonly called home watch. We agree on the areas to check, how often to visit and who to contact before you leave.

A visit can include accessible interior and exterior areas, visible signs of water problems, mail collection and agreed plant watering. If you need an approved contractor let in, we can discuss that too. Each visit is recorded and followed by a report.

For a condo, we’ll need working building access as well as access to your unit. If your insurer or broker requires a particular visit schedule, confirm it with them first. We’ll then let you know whether we can meet it.

DBC is not a security company and does not provide guarding, patrols, surveillance, alarm response, or emergency response.

Home Check is a scheduled visual visit, rather than a technical building inspection or a guarantee against loss.
